Our safety and quality strategy

This strategy sets out the opportunities we have to ensure:

• our care is high quality, safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, respectful and reliable
• we place people at the centre of everything we do by improving the safety, quality and experience of care
• we use evidence based care to achieve great experiences and great results.

We developed this strategy in collaboration with our people and consumer partners, who help us give safe, reliable and high quality care to our community.

Our safety and quality strategy compliments the six main goals of the Metro South Health strategic plan 2024-2028 for delivering our vision and our purpose.
